Well another year has come and gone, but what a year it has been for wool. It's been said before, if you're not making money out of sheep and wool now, then something is wrong. 2017 is also shaping up to be a good year for wool with Forward Contract and Minimum Price Contracts trading this week at 1600 plus for February in the 19 micron contract, and 1400 plus for 21 micron. Wool sales resume in the second week of January, and the pre Christmas indicators are that it should open on a firm footing.
